T-Rex Replica, from my personal collection. One of the most celebrated delays ever made — hand-built in Denmark by T-Rex Engineering and famously used by players from John Mayer to Carlos Santana and Gary Moore. It's digital under the hood but voiced with the warmth of a tube/tape echo, giving lush, musical repeats rather than a sterile digital tone.
Four knobs keep it simple and fast: Echo (delay mix), Repeat (feedback), Level (output) and Tempo (delay time), with a Tap Tempo footswitch to lock in time with the song. The Subdivision button shifts the tapped tempo into triplet/between-the-beat feels, and the Brown switch is a hi-cut on the repeats that darkens and warms them for a gorgeous '60s tape-echo vibe. There's also a MIDI input for external tempo control and a Direct output.
