This is an American-made G&L S-500, likely manufactured in the 1990s.
The frets and nut were replaced, and adjustments were made accordingly.
Originally, it had a roller nut, and switched back to a regular nut, the roller nut.
The previous owner has fixed the tremolo unit in place with wooden pieces sandwiched in front of and behind the tremolo block, but they can be easily removed.

Modifications have been made, which are as follows:
1. Frets have been replaced with stainless steel jumbo (width 2.8mm x height 1.45mm)
2. Originally, the nut was a roller nut, so the nut position was offset towards the 1st fret, but it has been changed back to a normal bone nut, so the nut has been extended to compensate for the offset.
3. Pickguard has been custom made in ivory
4. Internal wiring, pots, switch, jack, etc. have been replaced.
5. String retainer installed.
6. Tuners replaced with GOTOH SG360-07-L6-Chrome.
