Fender Stratocaster late 1964, refinished in its original colour, Lake Placid Blue.

Body: Refinished in its original Lake Placid Blue with correct white primer, lightly aged.

Neck: As original, has not been refinished. Refretted using vintage sized wire. New bone nut. Shows lots of wear to the finish and feels fantastic in the hand. Nov 64 neck stamp. Pearloid dots with clay side dots.

Plastics: Original pickguard. Original backplate. Two original knobs. Original pickup covers.

Hardware: Original tuners and string tree. Original tremolo, replacement tremolo arm, four original saddles. Original jack plate. Original strap buttons. Replacement screws all around. Replacement neck plate with original L57xxx serial number (Original neck plate included with sale).

Electronics: Two original pickups. One replica pickup handmade by Moondot Music. Three original pots. Replacement 3-way pickup selector. Replacement tone capacitor. Replacement jack socket.

This guitar came to me from its second owner who purchased it in the late 60s. It was well played during his ownership and has now benefited from a comprehensive tidy up. It’s a beautiful guitar to play. It comes with a period correct non-Fender tweed hard case, and includes a photo book of the restoration process.
