This Epiphone Les Paul Special Double Cut is not a mass-produced guitar. Built in Korea in 1994, it has become a sought-after rarity today – especially among players who really know what they’re holding in their hands.

We replaced the original (and already quite decent) P90s with a Tonerider Vintage P90 set. The result is clearer highs, a more defined attack, and a tighter low end – a genuine upgrade. On top of that, the frets have been leveled and polished, and a complete setup was carried out.

The neck features a slightly D-shaped profile that sits beautifully in the hand – medium thickness, nicely shaped, and very comfortable to play. Thanks to its pleasantly light weight, this Double Cut delivers an authentic P90 tone that doesn’t need to hide and is not far off from its US siblings.

Overall condition is very good: honest play wear, but no major damage. A truly great Double Cut for rock, blues, and punk.
