Here we have an incredible Epi Nighthawk reissue with really premium quality parts and features.
The quirky nighthawk design was Gibson’s attempt to target Strat players by offering a lighter Les shaped guitar with the option of having 3 single coil outputs.
So both the mini-humbucker and tilted bridge humbuckers can be split and mixed using the 5-way toggle. A combination that grew in popularity after the first run of nighthawks ended sparking both Gibson and Epiphone to commission a reissue series.
In my opinion, this guitar surpasses any Epiphone Standard Les Paul for both playability and diversity regarding tonal options
