DROP is Mad Sound Factory’s take on a hands-on analog groovebox — gritty, chaotic, and surprisingly playable. At its core is an LFO acting as a clock, feeding six dividers to create endlessly shifting, non-repetitive rhythms without a single step of programming. Just twist, patch, and let it rip.

The sound engine is all analog and all character: six flavors of noise, a punchy discrete VCA, a deep sub-octave generator (-1 and -2), and a “click” oscillator for sharp transients. The onboard saturation leans into raw territory — germanium-based and unapologetically dirty.

Modulation is just as wild. Touch banana jacks with cables, metal, or fingers — DROP reacts. Use the modulation LFO, play manually, or plug in external triggers. Built-in mixer, simple filter, and USB-C power keep it compact and road-ready. It plays nice with Eurorack, Buchla, and other banana-friendly gear.

Use it as a groovebox, percussion brain, noisy synth, or just a weird little friend to jam with. It’ll surprise you.
