The Tascam X-48 is the world’s first standalone 48-track hybrid hard disk workstation, combining the reliability of a dedicated recorder with the flexibility of a full-featured DAW. Co-developed with SaneWave, it offers up to 96kHz/24-bit recording on all 48 tracks, with native Broadcast WAV and AAF export for seamless compatibility with Pro Tools, Logic, and Nuendo. Featuring FireWire drive support, Gigabit Ethernet (awesome), an onboard 48-channel digital mixer, VGA output, powerful editing tools, and a built-in DVD+RW drive, the X-48 is a powerhouse solution for music, post, and live production.

Sold as is. Powers on, with all channels responding on start up and no errors on status meter. Unable to test properly without required multitrack CD, appropriate desk and computer interface.
