This is an original SX body (Japanese surplus guitar, not made in Japan, but Taiwan, thanks for the heads up) Strat, with an original Fender Japan Neck from 1993 (with serial #) and a trio of Tone Rider singlecoils (SSS, valued at about 150$ for the set). Very fat sounding and “warmer” than stock pickups.
The neck is maple and the fretboard is rosewood, with a 6 point trem (never tried).. It‘s action is a little high, but a proper setup should fix that. The tone this guitar has is so much better than stock pickups that would come in a brand new MIM Fender, for instance. That's why it will not sell low.
When I bought the guitar it came in a horrible done relic finish which I had removed, then properly finished as gloss natural. Turns out wonderfully. Please send me a message before buying for me to fix your shipping payment and concerns as I am from the Philippines.
