The Dual Rectifier, produced from 1992 to 2000, is the amp that defined the heavy metal sound of the 90s: 100 watts, four 6L6 tubes (with a Bias switch to EL34), two switchable channels (Orange and Red, each with three voicings), a Bold/Spongy switch ("Virac"), switchable tube or silicon diode rectifiers, and an effects loop. It was adopted by grunge (Alice in Chains, Soundgarden), metal (Metallica, Rammstein), and nu-metal (Korn, Linkin Park) bands alike. Sold with its footswitch.
