The Meris MercuryX takes the heart and soul of Mercury7 and expands it far beyond sci-fi into the highest quality and most flexible studio reverb ever created in a pedal format. Its modular reverb system format breaks the paradigm of pre-set reverb types and inspires new discoveries.

MercuryX features the same easy-to-use UI as LVX, making it immediately intuitive to navigate. MercuryX combines 8 custom Meris reverb algorithms and incorporates those into a modular system architecture first introduced with the award-winning LVX pedal. It features discrete processing elements and control signal modifiers that can be connected as desired for infinite flexibility in crafting custom reverbs.

The 8 Reverb Structures

Each reverb structure has gate controls for dialling in effects ranging from classic percussive gates to reverse-tail sounds and slow breathing textures. Each structure also features a Predelay Blend control, letting you put some or all of the predelay reflections in parallel with the reverb tank.

• Ultraplate — Adapted from Mercury7. An inspiring and lush plate with a fast build; a flexible decay range creates a wide range of studio textures.
• Cathedra — Adapted from Mercury7. A massive and ethereal algorithm with a slow build, perfect for sci-fi textures.
• Spring — A flexible algorithm voiced to replicate both amp-based reverb sounds and classic studio spring tanks from early recordings.
• 78 Room — A lively and direct sound, great for transforming static-sounding virtual amps into the sound of a great amp live in the room. Features a unique infinite mode (decay maxed out) that interacts with the Tank Mod for deep chorused and flanged reflections.
• 78 Plate — Fast and dense; a good match for beefing up percussion and vocals.
• 78 Hall — A large hall with a medium build-up of reflections, great for ambient walls of sound. Extended reflections are a great base for sculpting with the Bass/Mids/Cross controls — deep rumbling bass caverns and ethereal upper-mid halos are easy to create. An additional sparse mode is available when Diffusion is set low.
• Prism — A dual tank that lets you build your own geometric rooms by specifying size, distance, and reflectivity. Features a highly configurable modulation section allowing different modulation phases per side for an enhanced stereo image.
• Gravity — Works by accelerating individual windows of the signal and stretching them across the horizon, great for pad-like textures beneath your sound. Features a powerful modulation section capable of both gentle and chaotic pitch effects within the reverb tank. The Gain control is crucial to taming its explosive textures.
