About This Model

The Peavey MAX 126 is a 10-watt bass practice amplifier built around a single 6.5-inch speaker. It features Peavey's patented TransTube® circuitry for gain character and DDT™ (Distortion Detection Technique) compression, which works to maintain a tight, punchy low-end even at higher volumes. Tone shaping is handled by a two-band Low and High EQ, while a switchable Vintage Gain control adds extra drive when needed. Connectivity includes a 1/4" instrument input, a 1/4" auxiliary input for phones or other playback devices, and a 1/4" headphone output that disconnects the internal speaker for silent practice.
