1966 Fender Jazz Bass that comes with quite a story to telI. At one point many decades ago It was displayed in a Belfast Guitar shop window during the infamous "Troubles" when one day a car bomb exploded outside the shop shattering the windows and causing superficial damage to the instruments in the shopfront from the ensuing glass shrapnel. It was then sent to be professionally refinished alongside a 1962 Jazz Bass that had also been in the shopfront. During the repairs the neck plates ended up getting mixed up which was never spotted until after the P-bass had been sold. Since then the bass has been well taken care of and presents in overall very good condition.

Playability wise It was refretted just a couple of years ago to a very high standard and so plays as good as new.

Wiring : mostly original with 2 original volume pots (dating to 18th wk of 66), replaced tone pot (date obscured) and Mojo Dijon capacitor
