Beautiful vintage American-made Avedis Zildjian cymbal featuring the classic 1960s-style Avedis trademark stamp.

Diameter is approximately 15" / 38 cm and the cymbal weighs exactly 1400 grams.

At 1400g this is a substantial weight for a vintage 15" Avedis, giving it considerably more body and definition than a typical thin crash. It makes for a very interesting small crash, effects/ride cymbal or potentially a hi-hat pairing depending on the cymbal it is matched with.

The original model ink is no longer present, so I am deliberately not claiming a specific factory model. Cymbals of this diameter and weight were produced for several applications during this period, including heavier drum-set and band/orchestral use.

The cymbal retains its beautiful traditional lathing and natural vintage patina. The Avedis Zildjian trademark is still clearly visible.
