Up for sale is a custom built Fender Stratocaster with top quality parts. I have been slowly building this over the last few years trying to get the best match in parts for a great guitar. I'd say it's turned out pretty stellar. I worked on two stratocaster-style guitars, and I'm hoping these two strats find great homes and players. All parts are in excellent shape. I put in a lot of time with this build and I hope you enjoy it!Parts List:'14 Fender American Vintage '65 Stratocaster body in Fender's Flash Coat Dakota Red Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer. There's a slight dark mark on the wall of the trem cavity where I touched it with the soldering iron (last image). (Weight: 4 lbs 1 oz).'24 Fender Mod Shop American Professional Stratocaster Neck ("Deep C" profile, 9.5" radius, 1.685" nut width, Narrow Tall frets, bone nut) with gloss urethane Mystic Dakota Red headstock and a nice naturally dark rosewood fretboard. There is a flaw in the finish on the back of the neck behind the 2nd fret, like a few small braille dots. It can likely be sanded away, doesn't affect play, and it's hardly noticeable, but for full disclosure. As a note, my luthier did do final fretwork on this neck and cut/installed a new bone nut. Pickups are Fender Custom Shop '69 neck, Custom Shop '69 middle, and a Pure Vintage '65 in the bridge. Orange Drop 225p tone capacitor and Orange Drop 225p/Resistor treble bleed circuit.Callaham Vintage/Narrow Tremolo Bridge with Callaham Brass Trem Block. Forney Solid Brass Saddles. Callaham Virtual Pop-in tremolo arm is included. I have some silicone dampers in the springs currently. I can pop them out if requested. Pure Tone out jack.Music City Bridge Three String Tree.Fender Pure Vintage locking tuners in brushed steel. Body screws, strap buttons, and mint pickguard are all Fender Pure Vintage.Total Weight: 7 lbs 15.2 oz.A Fender Red Label molded hardshell case, which is in very good shape with no damage and fully functional is included.
