The Thirty Something is a boutique overdrive pedal made in the USA, designed by Brian Wampler to recreate the sound and feel of the legendary British Vox AC15 and AC30 amps of the 1960s. Initially developed as the Ace Thirty, it required nearly three years of development before its final release in 2014. It offers the famous Vox chime, from crystal-clear clean tones to a rich, singing Brian May-esque overdrive, with Volume, Gain, Bass, Treble, and Top Cut controls, a Headroom selector, and an independent Class A boost that can be used alone or to push the main circuit. An internal trimmer also allows you to tailor the input level for high-output pickups. Renowned for its dynamics, playing sensitivity, and excellent response to the guitar's volume potentiometer, it is considered one of the best "Vox in a Box" pedals on the market.
