The Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret Red – Purple Gaze Edition is a limited-edition, purple-finished version of the Dirty Little Secret Red, a hot-rodded evolution of the original DLS "Marshall-in-a-box" pedal. It delivers the sound and feel of a cranked late-'60s to early-'70s Marshall Plexi, but with more gain, tighter lows, and improved clarity.
Key Features
- Marshall Super Lead/Super Bass-inspired overdrive and distortion
- More available gain than the standard DLS
- More balanced EQ with reduced low-mid congestion
- Designed as a foundation pedal that can remain always on
- Internal switch for Super Lead and Super Bass voicings
- Operates on 9–18V DC center-negative power
- 9V: softer feel and earlier saturation
- 18V: increased headroom, punch, and attack
