Bryant Trenier based this model on a 1989 D'Aquisto Jazz Special that he has been able to maintain and spend time learning from. His result is a laminated top and back plate guitar that has wonderful resonance, even with the inset humbucker. In this case the guitar features laminated, figured maple for the top and back with similarly figured sides of bent solid maple. The neck is made of a single piece of flamed maple which is topped with an ebony fingerboard.
The neck has a comfortable C-shaped carve and the guitar is simply a joy to play. The action can be set low for fast, easy play if desired with all notes ringing out clearly. The acoustic tone is full and makes unamplified practice a beautiful experience. Plugged in the Lollar Imperial humbucker delivers classic, full tones.
The guitar is in excellent condition with almost flawless finish. The frets show almost no wear. It's in near mint condition.
