A phenomenal, explosive fuzz! A 1990s replica, a limited edition Steve Hackett model!
This is a replica of the model used by Steve Hackett of Genesis in the 1970s. The design and case are the same as the original. It produces a coarse, grainy tone with an incredibly high level, resulting in a powerful, explosive, thick overdrive/fuzz sound. It features a wide tone control that acts as a low-pass, flat, and high-pass filter. The sustain is fantastic when fully distorted, but the lightly distorted crunch sound is also quite good, with a crisp, punchy tone. It seems to pair very well with lightly distorted Marshall amps. It can reproduce the fuzz guitar sound heard on Genesis' "Wind and Wuthering" and "Selling England By The Pound." This model is a limited edition of 300 units. It's in excellent condition with minimal signs of use.
*One retaining screw has been replaced.
*Operates on 9V batteries only. AC adapter cannot be used.
Era: 1990s
Accessories: Box, instruction manual (Sound City Japan/original product from that time)
Contact Person: Sano
*Warranty period is 1 month from the date of purchase.
