A 1986 Fender Contemporary Stratocaster Deluxe HSS, crafted in Japan during Fender’s celebrated FujiGen era.
Finished in the elegant Frost White, this guitar perfectly captures the bold aesthetic of the mid-1980s. The contrast between the white body and the high-gloss black neck, matching black headstock, black hardware, black pickguard, and locking tremolo system creates one of the most striking and sophisticated appearances ever offered on a "modern" Stratocaster!
Built during a period when Fender Japan was producing some of the finest instruments in the company’s history, the Contemporary Deluxe combined traditional Strat ergonomics with modern performance features aimed at the demanding player: the result is a guitar that feels unmistakably vintage in quality yet remarkably contemporary in execution.
The Frost White finish has aged beautifully, developing a subtle vintage warmth while retaining the dramatic visual impact that made these instruments so desirable. Whether viewed from the front or the back, the black-and-white contrast is simply spectacular!
