This set came from a ‘57 reissue Les Paul custom, and the aging is from play, not relic‘ing.
The ’57 Classic is Gibson’s vintage-output PAF-style pickup using Alnico II magnets — warm, smooth mids, sweet top end, great for blues, rock, classic rock, and vintage tones.
The ’57 Classic Plus is the slightly hotter version, usually used in the bridge to balance output with the neck pickup.
