The EarthQuaker Devices Afterneath is an ambient "Otherworldly Reverberation Machine" that creates massive, cavernous soundscapes by stacking a multitude of short, rhythmic delays on top of one another rather than using a traditional reverb algorithm. 

Key Features & Controls

• Drag Control: The "secret sauce" of the pedal. It separates the individual short delay lines, letting you shift from a tight, traditional reverb to scattered, stuttering rhythmic delays.
• Reflect Control: Functions as the feedback or regeneration. Cranking this up allows the reverb to self-oscillate into a massive, echoing abyss.
• Diffuse & Dampen: "Diffuse" softens the attack of the effect, while "Dampen" acts as a tone control for darker or brighter trail tones.
• Modes (V3): The pedal includes 9 selectable modes (such as unquantized, major/minor scales, and octaves) that allow you to quantize the drag control to specific musical pitches.
