This was just set up. It has a brand new set of string, it is set up nicely--sounds and plays amazing.
Cosmetically this viola has a fair amount of crazing, lacquer cracking. It actually looks pretty cool, but this instrument does get a cosmetic downgrade because of this.
Also the edges show some wood wear/rub....right along the edges. You can see this in some of the photos. This is all cosmetic. Viola plays wonderfully.
There is also remnants of a sticker on the back of this viola, which is not coming off.
Instrument only. This instrument will ship extremely safely in a box.
