Nice old sweet sounding Gibson LG2 with great vintage tone and great playability. I had the guitar appraised and was told that it was from around 1946/47 post war era.

It looks like the guitar has had a bridge replacement and some refinishing at some point in the past, it also has several repaired cracks in the back which have been stable since I bought the guitar in 2016.

The action is just under 3mm Low E and high E with not much room at the saddle to lower. It has been this way since I bought it and seems very stable. It comes with a nice humicase that I have kept it in with humidification at all times when not playing it.

The neck is straight and very stable as all old gibson necks seem to be. The fretboard has seen some action and has some wear up at the nut end but nothing that affects playability. i tried to show this in the photos. The tuners are original and all in good working condition. there is a small ding with missing finish on the lower bout - this has been there since I got the guitar and has not changed.

This is probably more of a players than a collector guitar and that is reflected in the asking price.
