One of the most popular hide signature models inspired by X JAPAN, this Mockingbird-style guitar combines aggressive styling with surprisingly practical performance characteristics.

The Black finish gives the guitar a completely different atmosphere compared to the more colorful MG models. Simple yet powerful, it perfectly matches the sharp and distinctive Mockingbird body shape.

A major feature of this particular MG-80X is its mahogany body construction. Compared to many lighter MG-series guitars, this model carries slightly more weight, which helps reduce neck dive and improves overall balance while playing.

Tonally, the mahogany body adds thickness and warmth to the midrange, delivering powerful and focused distorted tones well suited for rock and lead playing. The 24-fret layout also provides excellent upper fret access for solos and technical playing.
