1987 PROFILE CT-753-WH

 Another “Restoration By James” project. Designed by JAMM INDUSTRIES in Montreal and produced by YOUNG CHANG in KOREA. This PROFILE line was primarily marketed in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. While they did produce several models, this particular one was geared to the shredders. The restoration is now complete and this beauty is now available.

·3 Toggle Switches. Each is an on/off for each pickup. Mid and Bridge switch are 2 way (on/off). Neck switch is 3 way, on/off/on. This is brilliant. If you are strumming aggressively down or up and accidentally hit the switch, it snaps to another on position, not off.

·The 3 Toggle (Kill) Switches also allow you to have 7 pickup combinations where a blade selector only lets you have 5. With this you can have Neck/Bridge or ALL 3 PICKUPS at once for a wall of sound.

·6 Point Trem Bridge (bar included). Has extra wide (10mm) bridge back plate to increase sustain.

·Tone Dial is tight torque, meaning it stays in place. Volume Dial is light torque allowing you to pinky spin the dial while playing.

RESTORATION:

·Rehydration Process – 10 days sitting in the humidifier room to slowly rehydrate the fret board.

·Tested all electronics and confirmed pickup output with multimeter.

·Fret Work – Fully taped fret board and pickups. Leveled and crowned frets using a Music Nomad fret file. Polished frets using a 4 sided polishing block.

·Fretboard treated with pure mineral oil.

·All Chrome treated with Silvo metal polish and tin foil. Then microfiber buffed.

·Electronics treated with Deoxit to ensure no oxidation.

·All plastics treated with 303 Aerospace.

·Body, Neck and Head Stock steamed and microfiber buffed.

·Truss Rod adjusted for slight relief.

·New Ernie Ball 9-42 Strings
