Mid 90s Yamaha STH-400R Super Strat Black w/ Hardshell Case, Humbuckers
For Sale is a Yamaha STH-400R in excellent condition. Loaded with two humbuckers, this guitar has more oomph than your average Stratocaster. The black double-hum strat format is reminiscent of a wide range of music from Blink 182 to Slipknot. Whether you choose to awake your inner Jim Root or Tom Delong, this is the start for you.
This guitar has a resilient Black polyurethane finish that has stood the test of time well. It only has minor playwear, none of which, is distracting while playing the guitar. There’s a bit of corrosion on the hardware as well, which is to be expected on anything that’s over 30 years old. The pickups are full-bodied, with plenty of midrange punch. These pickups take to distortion well, but also sound very round and focused when playing cleans.
The guitar has been setup with fresh strings, set to play low and easy. The fretboard has been conditioned and the frets, polished. The electronics have been cleaned, as well. A hardshell case is included for safe storage.
