Here is a very early example of what Fender was doing in 1982 — a Fullerton-era ’57 Reissue Stratocaster in custom color Olympic White or “Vintage White” as it was known at this time.
This one has all the early Fullerton features, including three red bobbin pickups, a May 1982 neck date, 6th week of ’82 pot codes, and the extended body routes from the early production period. Interestingly, it also has an older-style tremolo (die-cast zinc vs. two-point), which we believe to be original, though worth noting as it’s not typical.
The guitar appears to be 100% original besides a professional refret, which is a major plus for playability.
Condition is very good plus, with light dings, scratches, some fingerboard wear, and some stand rash on the back sides. Still very presentable and a great player.
