This second hand guitar is a 1966 Fender Jazz Bass in Olympic White with matching headstock. This instrument is a piece of rock and music history in France, having accompanied numerous French artists on stage, including Johnny Hallyday, Michel Delpech, C. Jerome, Patrick Topaloff, Pierre Vassiliu, Nancy Holloway, Michel Lebb, Nicoletta, and Philippe Lavil. Its only owner is the bass player of Les Dauphins, a French rock band from the 1960s that got its start in Toulouse. He kept the guitar close to him all his life.
Overall Condition: The guitar is in very good overall condition. The neck is easy to play and the action is low (it has just been refretted by our luthiers). The original finish has a beautiful patina on the front; the back of the body is more worn, as a golpeador-style pickguard was installed and later removed. The electronics and pickups are original and work perfectly. All parts are original. The guitar comes in a Gator case.
