Hello and welcome to the House of Chrome.

You are looking at an older and rare 1950's era Atlas CS-33 model microphone floor stand built in Brooklyn, NY and was a very unique model in the Atlas Corp line up. These were also sold as the CS-32 model but the CS-33 had the 3 adjustable chrome risers as where the CS-32 had two chrome risers.

Pic # 2 is from an old 1950's era Atlas catalog showing this very mic model stand and it's basic characteristics.

The CS-33 also has the 3 detachable chrome legs that attach to a painted aluminum base and spread out for greater stability and disassemble up for easier storage. It was a very clever design for it's time. The CS-33 was a high quality, rugged build and was sold by Atlas for about a decade which is why you see so few of these around. This was sold into the 1960's but this is the earlier Brooklyn model and it's quite rare as I have only sold one of these previously in the last 13 years. They just rarely come around and almost never this nice.

If you are a musician that needs extra height or a piano player that needs a stable stand with lower height than the CS-33 is ideal.

The CS-42 is just 4 pounds in weight and had an adjustable height of 26 inches low to 64 inches tall giving you more than enough height to work with.

The CS-33 is in very good condition with almost all of the wear being on the 3 lower chrome legs. The 3 rubber pads on the legs are excellent however and keep the stand from sliding around.

The chrome on all 3 risers are excellent as are the clutch mechanisms.. The lower chrome riser still has the original Atlas decal which is in excellent shape. The painted aluminum base is very nice as well with zero dents or corrosion.

This stand will accept any screw on mic or mic clip you have as it has the standard 5/8 X 27 thread.

Overall this stand is an easy 7 + on a scale of 1 - 10 though many would rate higher.

Due to recent price increases at the Postal Service I cannot ship this for any less than stated.

I do combine shipping which will save a lot of money if you plane on buying multiple items or more stands. If you need a 50's era stand with a lot character and height range...the CS-33 will get the job done.

As with all my vintage microphones and stands...

I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid. If not...I have a no hassle return policy. The return shipping will be on you as I believe that's fair but the purchase price would be refunded. Simply return in the same nice condition...period. Check my rating. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS are welcome as well. BUYER MUST PAY WITHIN 24 HOURS or will lose rights to this item, unpaid item report will be filed and will be re-listed. If you don't intend on buying this...do not commit to buy please. Domestic buyer will get priority shipping.

If you have any questions feel free to ask and...thanks for looking.
