Shop Evans EQ Pad Bass Drum Muffler/Damper
Achieve the perfect balance between resonance and control with the EVANS EQ Pad. This highly efficient bass drum muffler is designed to deliver a focused, punchy sound without choking the life out of your drum.
The EQ Pad attaches securely to the bottom of your bass drum shell with industrial-grade Velcro, ensuring it stays in place during transport and performance. Its unique hinged design is the key to its superior performance: the pad makes brief contact with the head to allow for an initial sustain, then returns to provide even, consistent dampening.
Features:
- Attaches to bass drum shell with Velcro
- Hinged pad bounces off the head, allowing sustain before returning to dampen the vibrating head
- Smaller pad on opposite end that can be used on smaller drums or for minimal damping
- All Evans accessories are designed, engineered and manufactured to the most stringent quality controls in the industry
