Vintage Kay Model 703 Tube Amplifier – 1950s – All Original – Fully Working
Unsere Benutzer bewerten Reverb
Very cool vintage Kay Model 703 tube amplifier, made in the USA in the 1950s.
Classic mid-century student amp with serious vintage character. Two-tone brown and cream covering, original Kay badge, and simple two-knob layout. These were built by Kay Musical Instrument Co. during the golden era of Chicago-made amps.
Fully tested — everything works. Powers on properly, passes signal, volume and tone controls function as they should.
Features:
• Model 703
• Tube amplifier
• Two control layout (Volume & Tone)
• Three instrument inputs
• 120V
• Original speaker
• Original cosmetics
Condition:
Very good vintage condition for its age.
Tolex shows normal wear, edge scuffs, and small corner separation consistent with a 60+ year old amp. Grill cloth presents nicely. Control panel has normal patina. Original handle intact.
Interior shows original speaker and tube complement.
This is a great piece for:
• Vintage blues / garage tones
• Studio recording
• Collectors of Chicago-built amps
• Anyone wanting that small tweed-era breakup vibe without Fender pricing
