I am offering a Yamaha SY-1, Yamaha’s first true synthesizer and a highly sought-after classic from the early 1970s.

What makes the SY-1 so special — and desirable today — are its legendary filters, which are otherwise only found in the iconic Yamaha GX-1. This gives the SY-1 a powerful, raw, and unmistakably rich sound character that far exceeds its compact size.

The synthesizer features aftertouch, allowing expressive control over modulation — a remarkable and forward-thinking feature for its time. Yamaha clearly drew deeply from its creative vision when designing the SY-1, especially considering its release in the early 1970s.

This unit is in very good condition, has been fully checked and tested, and works as it should.
