There is no control plate; the controls are mounted directly to the body top.

The fretboard and fret finish are outstanding.

The abalone block inlay used on the fretboard is very beautiful and gives it a luxurious feel.

The bridge has been changed from the previous V10, and is closer to the BADASS style. I think it's good.

It features a powerful sound that is tight yet rich in harmonics, with a moderate amount of compression.

It's a model that I would definitely recommend trying not only for those aiming for a Marcus Miller-esque sound, but also for anyone simply looking for a high-quality Jazz Bass.
