This is a 1960s made in Japan classical guitar with original cream button tuners. It has the JLD bridge doctor installed which helps to flatten the top and increase sustain. The guitar is set up left handed with new normal tension Martin classical guitar strings.
The guitar could benefit from a neck reset because there is a buzz at the 11th fret, however, it does play well in the cowboy chord area and up until the 11th fret, and after the 11ft fret. The lacquer finish has some weather checking throughout, and there appears to be a bit of wood replaced by the neck joint on the top.
The guitar has the original nut and upgraded unbleached bone saddle. Interestingly, it doesn’t have side-dot markers on either side, but it has nice pearl inlays on the fretboard, with Martin style binding and rosette.
A bonus gig bag case is included with full shipping protection.
