Bacchus Duke “Year of the Snake”, a limited master-built singlecut produced through Bacchus’ bi-annual workshop allocation in Nagano, Japan.
This instrument sits in the same tier as Gibson Custom Shop and Fender Custom Shop instruments, built within a smaller Japanese workshop environment where output is limited by individual luthier capacity rather than production demand.
The guitar features a carved maple top over a mahogany body and neck, finished in Champagne Gold Patina using a thin lacquer process designed to preserve resonance while allowing natural visual aging.
Electronics are Bacchus BRH-1 pickups, hand-voiced within the Bacchus workshop. These are boutique-style pickups designed for balanced output, with a warm midrange, smooth top end, and strong dynamic response to pick attack. The control layout includes dual volume and tone controls with a three-way selector.
With a 24.75” scale length and 42mm nut width, the instrument has a familiar, balanced singlecut feel.
