Here for sale a nice anawesome super strong matched pair of NOS Matsushita ecc83 12ax7.
They are EXCELLENT sounding tubes. Known as the "Japanese Mullard".
Tests results : Tube 1 115 % 113 %
tube2 115 % 115 %
They were made in Japan in collaboration with Mullard , Mullard sharing their knowledge, technologie as well as their tooling for these superb production. Perfect meticulous construction.
15mn grey plate and declined ring getter.
One of the best tube for hifi music lover. Large frequency range, everything is heard perfectly, each details and instrument , voice male and female is superb, clear and sweet.
Ok I don't usually use strange word to describe tubes , but what first come to mind mind about these tubes is a " relax" sound , very fluid.
Same as used in a guitar amp , you 've got the warmess of Mullard and clarity of the best Philips but with a kind of more relax fluid sensation , it's subtle but for me it's there.
An other great underrated jewel. Very musical tubes.
Both over full specs and very well balanced and perfectly matched, within 2 %, so the best for most regarding stereo use.
Of course perfect too in V1 and V2 or two parallel channels. Fully tested including for sound noise and microphony.
Sold as new or very few use.

The Jackson 648. It is definitely one of my favorite tube testers. While it does not employ a mutual conductance test circuit, it does use an advanced emission circuit that applies separate element voltages to each tube element, and separate load circuits are also used. “These voltages and loads have been carefully selected for each tube to meet most ideally the normal operating condition of the tube.” (Source: 1950 Jackson catalog.)
In my experience, the Jackson circuitry is very effective, and often will surprise you with accuracy that approaches Hickok’s coveted “mutual conductance” test method. ( Source tubesound web site.)
I do my best to test and describe the tubes the best I can. Note that test results may vary from one tester to an other so this must be taken as an indication, although my jackson is regulary tested for calibration. Photos are part of the description you get what you see.
