For sale is a stunning, all-original Tokai Love Rock LS-50 in exceptional, clean condition. This model features a classic Goldtop finish over a 2-piece solid maple cap, paired with a rich, dark rosewood fretboard. It comes with its original Tokai-branded black hardcase with a green plush interior that has been customised with painted symbol on the exterior by its previous owner.
Widely regarded as one of the finest vintage Japanese Les Paul models ever crafted, this Tokai LS-50 Love Rock mirrors the classic tonewoods of its Gibson-branded counterpart. It boasts a carefully selected “old-growth” African mahogany body and a ‘60s slim tapered neck, a meticulously carved two-piece maple top, and original Goto “Patent Applied For” PAF-style humbuckers.
This Tokai Love Rock LS-50 is in exceptional vintage condition, with only minor surface marks, light buckle rash on the back and a very small dent to the right of the bridge volume knob—all pictured—presenting a remarkably clean example for its age. The frets show minimal wear and retain plenty of life, ensuring excellent playability. All original hardware and plastics are intact, with the PAF-style Goto humbuckers delivering rich, articulate tones.
