Yamaha PortaSound PSS-21 – Stereo Compact Synth with AWM Technology (1989)
Compact stereo keyboard/synthesizer featuring 12-note polyphony and one of the very few models in the PortaSound range equipped with Yamaha’s renowned AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) sample-based technology. Unlike the FM-based models in the series, the PSS-21 uses real audio samples to deliver warm and realistic instrument tones.
It offers an impressive selection of 100 sounds inspired by pianos, brass, guitars, synths, and more, along with 4 drum kits playable via dedicated front-panel pads, 10 preset rhythms with auto accompaniment (bass + drums), and a SONG mode for playback.
Condition:
• Very good cosmetic and working condition – only minor signs of use.
• Sold with a compatible 9V DC power supply (EU).
• Note: The battery compartment cover is missing (does not affect use).
