The PRS Swamp Ash Special in Vintage Natural brings a distinctive voice to the PRS Bolt-On lineup. Its swamp ash body delivers tight lows, bright but mellow highs, and a welcome twang suited to country, blues, and jazz.
Two PRS 58/15 LT pickups flank a PRS Narrowfield middle pickup for a versatile hum/single/hum configuration. The Narrowfield adds single-coil-style bite without the hum. A volume control, tone control, five-way blade switch, and dual mini-toggle coil-tap switches provide twelve sound combinations, with even volume levels between humbucking and single-coil settings. This design introduced dual mini-toggle coil-tap switches to the model for the first time.
Roll back the tone control for growl or turn it up for shimmer. A 22-fret, 25-inch scale bolt-on maple neck pairs with a rosewood fretboard, while Phase III locking tuners with unplated brass shafts and a PRS Gen III patented tremolo complete the hardware.
