The "Firebird" burst onto the scene in 1963, shaking up the guitar world with its flashy look and neck-through-body construction. Early Firebirds featured a “reverse” body design, which changed to “non-reverse” from 1965 onward. A Firebird V like this 1964 example is a rare find! This one has undergone a full refinishing, a refret, and comes with a 1990s brown case with pink plush interior. It features two model-specific pickups (not mini-humbuckers), a striking Vibrola Lyre tremolo, trapezoid inlays on the rosewood fingerboard, banjo-style tuners, and a mahogany "winged" body construction. This Firebird really stands out!
