The vibration of the strings is converted into an electrical signal, processed for effects, and transmitted to an actuator (vibrator) installed inside the body, which then vibrates the entire guitar.

This allows the effect sound to be produced by the vibration of the guitar body without connecting an amplifier or speaker.
