MyDream Partcaster Custom Built - Gilmour's Black Strat Tribute

This partcaster is a replica of David Gilmour's famous Black Strat. It has all the characteristics of the famous Black Strat in terms of materials and finish as well as sound with its pickups and cabling including a mini selector switch that allows the neck pickup to be added in any position of the main selector switch. It also has a vibrato with a shortened arm and its 2.9mm thick black acrylic pickguard. The ageing of the body reveals the Sunburst under the black finish, as well as the recapped cavity of the Kahler tremolo installed in 1983. The hand-wound pickups made in Europe are the same specifications as those of the Black Strat, consisting of two original Fender pickups from 1972 in the neck and middle positions, and a bridge pickup over-wound by David Gilmour himself.
