650 mm Scale 52 mm Nut. Fine to Medium grain Soundboard and highly figured Bird's Eye Maple back and sides. 7 Fan Braces. Signed on the label and underneath the soundboard. French Polish. One old repaired crack on the top.
Fabio Zontini was born in 1971 a student of the award winning Carlo Raspagni (1925-1999) from 1992 onward.
Very loud, sweet with a well developed resonance of 1,000-2,000 hours since it left the workbench.
Played by Bruno Giuffredi, Fabrizio Giudice amongst other virtuosos.
There is one repaired crack from the end block to the bridge, see the photo provided. His instruments with Rosewood back and sides sell for $10,000 in the US.
