This bass allows for one of the lowest actions I have tried, with a string height of 1.5mm - 2mm, which makes it extremely comfortable for slapping, strumming or tapping techniques.
The neck is extremely stable and hardly needs any adjustments, keeping the action and string height in the right spot much longer than other basses.
The sustain of the instrument is incredible and with hybrid or steel strings (the ones I usually use) the mids and highs of the instrument are ultra defined, but always with a beautiful low end.
What strikes me about this bass is the incredible balance between the strings. It responds to the subtlest touch, but when changing strings it keeps the volume intact, like a natural compression effect, which makes it very easy to keep control of tone and volume. In this respect, having owned and tested dozens of basses, I've only noticed this level of bass perfection in the €3,000 and above price range, and yet this Warwick is superior to many of them.
The German MEC electronics are ultra quiet and the bass is noise free.
