“Audrey-Arroway” is the latest composition by ultra talented Japanese luthiers Kaz Goto, Eiko Goto, and Akiko Oda of Jersey Girl Homemade Guitars. Each guitar is a unique and highly functional work of art, handcrafted from the ground up, ensuring that no two instruments are ever exactly alike and that each plays up to the high standards of this luthier trio.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Audrey-Arroway features a neck made from reclaimed Red Maranti and Maple, a Ziricote fingerboard, and a body constructed from Japanese Persimmon and Red Maranti. The guitar is adorned with spalted Maple and Tamo covers, knobs, and Persimmon accents throughout, creating a visually stunning piece.

The superior craftsmanship is further highlighted by the stained Poplar inlays, a bone nut, Sanko 214H frets, and a brass logo medal at the headstock. Equipped with GOTOH hardware, a persimmon and aluminum tailpiece and original hand-wound humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets, this guitar promises exceptional performance and tonality.

Kaz’s ears and winding skills are exceptional. These pickups sound like a low output PAF‘s with a bit more snap and presence than one might expect. The sound floor is very low.

With a matching strap made of Japanese cotton denim fabric and cow leather, embroidered with cotton threads, and a custom handmade “Fulltender” overdrive pedal, the Audrey-Arroway is not just an instrument but a comprehensive musical experience.
