1980s B.C. Rich USA Mockingbird Neck Through Vintage Guitar Transparent Blue w/ Mono Case

Up for sale, a circa 1980s B.C. Rich USA Mockingbird in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This USA-made B.C. Rich boasts an exceedingly rare Transparent Blue gloss finish, highlighting the maple neck through construction, loaded with a pair of DiMarzio PAF humbuckers.

Tonewoods comprise a maple neck, maple body wings with walnut stringers, and a slab rosewood fretboard, and this Mockingbird weighs 8lbs 15oz. The DiMarzio PAFs are throaty and sweet-sounding, with a clear midrange and an ideal balance of warmth and articulation. The versatile control array includes a Master Volume, three-way pickup selector, Preamp Volume, Preamp On/Off switch, 6-position Varitone, Phase switch, Dual Sound neck pickup switch, Dual sound bridge pickup switch, and a Master Tone control to round things out. From thick churning high gain to spanky, sparkling cleans, this Mockingbird covers significant tonal ground. This Mockingbird has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
