A really cool 2002 Samick Greg Bennett Designed Malibu SSS MB-1 Candy Apple Red Electric Guitar with the original Case...

We have no serial numbers to date these guitars. They were made first in 2002 and thru 2010. We calling it a 2002 just because! Its one of those years.

We cleaned it up and added a new set of strings. Just a few dings on this one but it did take a spill that knocked a corner off the Headstock. See pic 7. Otherwise, its just beautiful! Love the RED!! Comes complete with the whammy bar and cool case!

Description:

A lot has changed since the early 50’s, including the performance needs of musicians. The Samick Greg Bennett MALIBU™ series captures the essence of those early bolt-on neck guitars, in a sleek updated package. The slightly reduced body size makes it lighter and more manageable on those extended club sets. The neck pocket was also made deeper for a superior neck to body contact. The compact, angled back headstock also provides enhanced performance, not to mention the ability to stay in tune. The angled back headstock produces greater string bearing pressure at the nut. This results in improved attack and sustain.

• 22 fret, 25 ½” scale
• Chrome hardware
• Grover™ A102C, 14:1 ratio tuners

• Three single coil pick ups
• 5-way selector switch
• 1 volume, 2 tone controls

Our Tech did a great job setting this guitar up with a new set of strings and awesome playing action. The pickups sound huge and very toneful. A lotta guitar for not big bucks!!

The Guitar has a slightly smaller body with a standard 25 1/2 inch scale neck. The nut measures 1 11/16 inches so the necks feel just like your standard Strats. The body being smaller gives you a smaller profile against the body and more access to the upper frets. Very cool design.

Comes with the shown Lightweigh Hard Side Case that fits it great. Cool Alligator design on the Tolex gives this guitar outfit a vintage look.

Beautiful but its vintage and used so it's sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
