The Edgware wood clarinet made by Boosey & Hawkes was designed as a step up or intermediate clarinet. By today's standards it's a very high quality instrument. Made of grenadilla with nickel plated keys. Serial number 113788 places the date of manufacture to c.1970 before the Buffet Crampon company bought them out in 1981. 
These Boosey & Hawkes clarinets made in London play with a heavier tone than most French made clarinets. It plays with a deep resonance and a broad spectrum of colors and timbes.
This instrument has been restored with all new pads and corks. A repaired crack in the lower joint has been expertly repaired. All work under 6 month warranty.
The pitch is A=440.
Included is a new case, cork grease, drop through swab and used intermediate mouthpiece (not shown).

These vintage instruments are better than any intermediate wood clarinet you can buy on the market today. Buy vintage and get a better value. Really nice player for an advancing student or semi-professional.
