Collings CJ Sunburst Mahogany 2021

The CJ, Collings Jumbo, is Collings' interpretation of one of the all-time classics in the guitar world, the Gibson J45. The slope shoulder is a model that has always maintained a loyal fan base over the years, and these guitarists praise the model for its unique sound. While the guitar is not noticeably larger than a dreadnought, the slope shoulder is distinguished by a deep, full sound with a rich bass, while the highs and mids are also beautifully balanced.

The Sitka spruce top is wrapped in a beautiful subtle sunburst, and is accompanied by a mahogany back and sides framed in a tortoise binding. The mahogany neck has a sturdy C-profile and is comfortable to play over the entire length due to the compound radius. The neck is decorated with a tortoise binding, mother-of-pearl dot inlay and a mahogany headstock.

This 2021 Collings CJ is in excellent condition. The guitar has very light playwear on the pickguard and back of the body, as well as a touch-up to the lacquer in the waist on the bass side of the side of the body. However, this dazzling guitar is very clean and with its beautiful sound and unbeatable playability, it is ready for a new musical adventure.
