Miguel Company was the preeminent luthier in Cuba until he emigrated to the US and set up shop in Miami. This is an example of his 1A model: the N101, from 1971, just three years before his death.
The guitar has been professionally restored from a state of disrepair. New frets, nut, and saddle as well as new Gotoh tuners. 655 scale. Action at 12th fret is 3mm. Neck is straight and true.
The sound of this guitar is astonishing. The man who restored the guitar owns a superb 1971 Manuel Rodriguez 1A (and is the original owner). We did a comparison and this guitar was very similar. Miguel apprenticed under Jose Rubio, and his guitars are as Spanish as they come.
This one really needs to be played and heard to be appreciated.
Thanks for looking!
